The Story Behind
The Jefa Way Society
Lizette Ibarra—"La Jefa” is an executive search leader & entrepreneur on a mission to see more women rise to leadership, and she is also known for her deep passion for tennis. Having always wanted to play but never had the opportunity, she finally picked up a racket at 40 and stepped onto the court without knowing how to play. Ten years later, she has become an avid tennis player, a league captain, and a competitor who has achieved many milestones. More than just a sport, tennis became her backbone—her anchor—for balancing the demands of being a successful entrepreneur, a busy mom & wife, and everything in between.

Beyond the competition, tennis has given Lizette resilience, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and leadership—qualities that have profoundly shaped her entrepreneurial journey. Through every match, every challenge, and every win, she has built cherished friendships, fostered community, and uncovered invaluable life lessons. Today, she is on a mission to uncover the stories of other women leaders—corporate executives and entrepreneurs—who, like her, have discovered that movement is not just physical—it is power.

The Jefa Way Code
Soy Jefa.
Being a Jefa isn’t a title to hold—it’s a commitment to uphold. It’s not about superiority or status. It’s a pledge to yourself—to rise, to own your choices, and to show up fully. A commitment to take charge, walk your path with conviction, and claim your power. It’s the freedom to fail, to learn, to push past limits, and to reinvent yourself. It’s building success on your own terms—without asking for permission.

The Jefa Way is about working with passion, moving with purpose, growing fearlessly, and rising stronger every time. It’s about being a leader, an entrepreneur, a mom, a partner, a friend—a woman defining life on her own terms. None of it, all of it, some of it—whatever she chooses. But always with heart and soul.

And because we are community builders, we don’t rise alone. We rise, and we bring others with us. We lead, we uplift, and we make space for more.

Because being a Jefa means living with purpose, freedom, and authenticity.

This is The Jefa Way. Own it. Live it. Lead it.

For every Jefa out there, con cariño.
